About the role

Sense are looking for a passionate and dedicated Education Co-ordinator to join our team, in Selly Oak, Birmingham. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.

This is a great opportunity for a creative individual to join Sense as we establish a new education service at our purpose built centre TouchBase Pears. Working with individuals with a range of communication and sensory support needs, you will design, deliver, and asses personalised study programmes to promote communication, life skills and the wellbeing of our learners.

Taking a person centred approach, your programme will support people to be as involved as possible in every part of their day to day lives so that they can be full and active members of society, reducing isolation and promoting community involvement through a range of activities.

About you 

Our ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree or education qualification and you will have proven experience of working in a teaching environment. You will be an effective communicator and it would be fantastic if you have experience of supporting people with sensory impairments, learning disabilities and/or complex needs. 

A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.
