About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Communication and Support Assistant to work 3 hours per week at Sense Family Centre Woodside in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to support a colleague who is sensory impaired to run an established children’s group on a Wednesday afternoon 12:30pm – 3:30pm. This is a fixed term contract for six months.
You would be their eyes and ears and enable them to run an effective group. You may also support them in completing paperwork relating to their role.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, including spoken and written English.
You will be able to provide support to enable another person, as well as have the ability to work under your own initiative when appropriate.
